Rieger front lip- Anyone?
Does anyone have this piece on their car? The more I look at it, the more possibilities I see. It is ABS and has an optional splitter that runs under the middle of the spoiler. It also looks like it has a nice clean, close fit on the sides like the OEM aero lip. (I don't care for the Rieger sides but have an idea of what ones might look good with this lip.)

Be prepared for horrible fitment. I had Rieger on my Audi and the fitment was a nightmare. I've also seen this kit in person on a black e92 and fitment was terrible.

Of course, that's the whole Rieger front bumper which is much more complicated than I would consider, personally. This add-on lip is simple and has a very thin, clean attachment on the sides...if the fitment isn't as bad as others have posted. But you can add a middle splitter if desired, both CF and non-CF.

From what I understand, the Hartge is fiberglass. This Rieger piece is ABS and could be molded more easily. Also, the Hartge sticks out a lot more on the sides from the pics I've seen. This piece takes the curvature of the side skirts I'm lookin' at from the Job Design E92 kit (along with an Mtech rear). I like the Hartge well enough but I sure would like to see someone do this Rieger lip.
I think the side skirts and the pics of the whole kit are what's scaring people off...sure did me at first. Then I saw this piece on **********s site and took a second look and started messing around with it in MS Paint, the poor man's photoshop. Here's how the set-up might look on Montego with my new favorite rims- the BBS LM-R (again,my apologies to the owner of this car): |

Amazing...
I found that sucka! Now, imagine it with a Vorsteiner trunk and the Job Design side skirts, which are wider (below), and an Mtech rear. I think the plan is coming together.

hmmm..not really man..i think it actually looks like you have something there dude..it looks sleek enough to me..you can even go for a DD side skirt or a hamann one and it'll complete the look..the side skirt you have on now is not too bad either..

*****Merry Christmas!!!*****
Here is the Enkreuz thread showing the Rieger front lip: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=91235 Maybe it wouldn't look so big and added-on if the car were a darker color (e.g. Sparkling graphite, black or even Montego.)
