I recently installed the Active Auto equal length mid pipe on my G80 M3 and it truly transformed the sound! Sounds like a proper M car now. Most of us can't leave well enough alone so I decided to install a valve controller to see if it would further enhance the sound.

I went back and forth on the different options (Dahler, Dinan, VSC-2) but didn't find anyone that has the Carbahn unit. Looked like a solid choice so I decided to give Carbahn a try.

The reasons I chose this over some other options were:

- Quality

- Waterproof

- Does not engage with CAN-Bus

- Plug and Play no cutting wires.

- Easy Install

Thanks for the vid! I have the AWRON valve controller...everything else stock. I was thinking about going with the AA equal length mid pipe next, but it sounds a little more raspy than I'd like.

You might want to consider the single midpipe; it provides a subtler sound enhancement and comes in a resonated version for an even softer increase.
