E92 LCI headlights with ignition

Hey chaps I have a e92 thats not running currently but everytime we turn the ignition on to scan it the xenon lights are turning on and after 10-15 minutes of scanning the lights are killing the battery .. is this a coding issue or something simple I'm missing?

you need to charge battery and switch lights manually to sidelights only
