is my iDrive jacked up?
First time visitor, long time lurker. Recently acquired an 18k mile 2023 x1. Settings show my profile is logged in MyBMW, so it's seeing its me and my specific key.

Saved settings in a driver profile and which have been sync'd with the ConnectedDrive account remain in the ConnectedDrive account. Not sure if you can change the settings to what you want then re-sync your driver profile to the ConnectedDrive account and thus override the old settings or if you first have to delete the settings in the ConnectedDrive account before you can set new settings and sync them to the ConnectedDrive account. I believe when a used BMW is traded in at a BMW dealer the vehicle settings are reset/cleared back to factory defaults before the vehicle is offered for sale. So the new owner starts with a clean slate. The owners manual should offer some help on this subject. |
