Hello, I have a Kdcan cable without switch, with it I was able to code a 2006 530i, I added AUX function to that car

Now I want to use it to get a fsc code from my friend's 2011 325i, it's LCI E92

Can I use it without any problems? or will I need the switch version of the cable?

I don't want to brick it😩
