Valve Cover Gasket Leak

Again. Not even two weeks since replacing one on the other car. This time it's my 330i, N52, magnesium valve cover. I smelled a little burnt oil after a hard drive and I inspected under the hood only to find that the seam along the passenger side toward the front of the engine is damp with oil.

I replaced this VCG in 2020 and used a thin spread of Permatex ultra black. A few years later the rear was leaking, but I found the rear corner bolt was loose, tightened that up and it hasn't leaked since. Guess I need to try the same trick on these front bolts, but unlike that rear corner bolt I know I torqued these down properly during installation.
