Stuck valvetronic gasket

I’m doing the valve cover replacement and the gasket was so stuck to the valvetronic motor that I had to remove them together. Any tips to get them separated? I tried carefully prying from an edge but it’s hard to even find a good place to pry from. The thing seems cemented on!

Garage List
Prolly dried out and way too much RTV glopped in there. Maybe try a heat gun and work it loose that way. Or, possibly get a feeler gauge in between the motor and the gasket.

Mine was full of RTV as well, but cut it out of the groove with knife where gasket and actuator meet.
Then put flat head screwdriver in the groove and started gently hitting the screwdriver head against the ground to push the gasket off. Started moving very quickly.
