Greetings, its my first time posting here and to be honest
im a little desperate, about 4 days ago after installing the 3 stage intake manifold on my e92 328i with the n52 engine I went to get the tune for it

Everything was perfect, I got the trickle charger, even a
new Bimmergeeks cable (https://www.bimmergeeks.net/product-...dition-k-dcan1), BMW STANDARD TOOLS (Got it from this reddit thread https://www.reddit.com/r/E90/comment...are&utm_term=1)

After following two different tutorials one of them being the famous Auto
Hut one and the other being a more recent modern one I found online (

I at first tried to flash it doing the RSA delete first after downloading the RSA delete file and 330i Tune (Nomaf) and then I was getting "PABD" missing errors, myheart sunk as I thought I had bricked my DME (foreshadowing) but luckily WinkFP doesnt go through with flashing without it so I looked around and found that I was getting that missing PABD error due to needing something called "Sp-Datens" (this is where my issues started) which I believe were v69. I didnt really know what I was doing so someone who was helping me who I know realize also didnt know what they were doing told me to ask chatgpt (stupid I know)

I didnt know how to put the files that I downloaded from the e89 folder I got
so chatgpt told me to manually copy the .prg and .ipo files into the parts of winkfp that needed it which MUST'VE worked enough for when I tried to do the RSA delete it opened winkfp, the progress bar went to 0%.

It stayed there for a minute and winkfp froze, after 5 minutes of pressing
"wait" for it to load i finally closed it thinking that no damage had been done since it went to 0%!

Yeah I was wrong, my while everything else works just fine, actually
exceptionally whenever I put it into accesory mode and press the start button everything goes hay wire and the car JUST CRANKS

This is really bad as all I wanted to do was to make my daily driver
(which I do not have and its impacted my life greatly) is gone and Im stuck.

I looked online and did some more digging and saw
that people who had HAD a similar issue simply ran the RSA delete again and had some luck, but after trouble shooting, new datens (v74), new up to date standard tools, everything, this is the error I get

And whats weirder is that my inpa doesnt even detect my car now (my old inpa in my other standard tools did before deleting everything for my new standard tools)

And before anyone asks, yes my WINK FP settings are what is needed, my com settings are good, and everything in notepad is set.

Im honestly really desperate if anyone can please HELP me that would be appreciated I know I dont know what im doing but im just really worried and confused, any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you/

I know ChatGPT gave you some bad advice, but if you drop these error messages into ChatGPT it does provide some ideas. Start with the simple stuff. Make sure your com port is set correctly (also it should be a number below 10), make sure your ignition is on. Make sure your battery has enough voltage.

I would start out with a fresh install of the bmw tools. Uninstall from the control panel and remove any remaining software folders from your C: drive (I don't have my laptop with me so I can't tell you the names at the moment). Install the SP-Daten files again and make sure they are the correct ones. The goal is to get INPA to communicate with your car first. If INPA works, winkfp should then be able to flash the RSA delete. If you are still stuck, later on I can tell you what folders to delete and give you a working copy of my folders (I did the RSA delete successfully).

If it is truly bricked, you could get another ECU from a junkyward or Ebay and pay someone to program it for your car. There are services that can do that. So all hope is not lost.

EDIT: I gave ChatGPT some more background and it says INPA may not work but winkfp in expert mode might be able to communicate still. It mentioned trying to fix the ZUSB manually. All of this stuff is way above my head. You might want to seek help on the coding forums instead.
