Best interior cleaner for Leatherette

Hi all

Just wonder what you all use to clean and wax your interior, if you have the leatherette interior. I used this Mother's interior wax thing, worked great on my daddy's lexus (Leather interior), but didn't seem to be working well on the leatherette of my E90, cuz the surface is kinda uneven, and it leaves some wet marks when it's dried. Just wondering what everyone is using...?

and has anyone tied the OEM dealership stuff??

Thanks in advance

This, and this.

Will work fine on leatherette. My cousin had leatherette in his e46 and it worked fine. Microfibre cloth, spray onto the cloth and not the surface itself and you're laughing. Good luck

BMW reccomends bmw leather cleaner for leather or leatherette. part number 83-12-0-415-497
dash cleaner part number 83-12-0-415-495

it's in your "care tips" manual in your glove box if youre ever in doubt what to use on your car.

Go see the hot parts girl at Autohaus parts department she'll hook you up.

Could raise some eyebrows here but - I recently used one of those 'magic erasors' from Mr. Clean to effectively remove shoe scuff marks and to clean up my seating surfaces. Damn things are incredible.
I have the beige interior so all marks are noticeable. Probably wouldn't use this on any other (read:darker) materials.
Note that they are mildly abrasive so don't use it on any smooth/shiny surface.

Best stuff I found is used for conditioning leather saddles -- available at Tack Shops.
Auto detailing shops sell exactly same stuff for twice the price.

We use it for all our leather seats and even our leather couch -- it's a two-step process - 1. Clean & 2. Condition

I'll post product name when I get home later.

Or try "The World's Best Wax" brand in Toronto

The owner is Frank.
His rim cleaner is awesome, but not good for chrome or polished lips. Those lips usually have no clear coats.

It's TACK shop... or Saddlery -- like Paullo said it's stuff for horses/equestrian.
Google "Tack shop" in your area.

Comes in two bottles -- one for cleaning and the other for conditioning. I use it on my couch/chairs and auto interior.
