Window locks are not working as it should

Hi Guys,

I think my window locks are not working as it should. This is what I did,

1) Switch on the window lock (Green light turns on)
2) roll down the window from passenger side,

The window rolls down. I thought the window must not roll down as I locked the windows and the green light is on.

Does this happens to all of you ?

do you mean front passenger or rear windows?

the lock only locks out the rear windows, not the front passenger one

I feel that's really bizarre that it doesn't lock out the front passenger one as well.

Why should it lock out the front windows, when the whole point of the window lock function is to prevent kids (if you have them, they should always be in the back) from playing with the rear windows?

seriously
Just like there's a child protection locking mechanism on the rear doors (read your manual, it tells you how) and none on the front passenger door. Why? The same reason as the locking rear windows, to protect kids from rolling down windows or opening doors on their own.

well besides child protection, i really thought it would be nice to lock the front passenger window also. cause after washing that car i hate it when people roll down windows from the passenger side and leaving those undried water marks.

I think he is confused because most cars would lock out all windows except for the driver's window.

I'm not sure if you were responding to my post, but my post was a rhetorical question for the OP. Maybe we need a better sarcasm smiley...
