Annoying squeak
Does anyone get this when rolling slowly, if I dab my brakes it stops. Is it a case of take the pads out and put some copper slip on the backs.

Could be the handbrake too. does it disappear if you pull the handbrake on?
Mine has a low speed squeal which is only really noticeable in car parks, but its the handbrake and not the foot brake. |

does it sound like its coming from the rear?
i had this problem for ages - it took me 3 visits to finally get it sorted and i still dont actually know what they did. something to do with the brake pad wear sensor i think. when it happened to me i also had some weirdness going on with the idrive telling me to change my brake pads and stuff. i feel for ya boys, it is a really annoying and deeply embarrassing squeak, especially when pulling away from lights etc |

Hi guys had the same problem a few times, when hand brake is released get screching from rear driver wheel, BMW found brake dust build up cleaned it out ok for a while but has come back same wheel. Was doing it more when wet but has been dry for weeks and been doing it off and on.
Have just booked it in again for them to have a look at> |
