Peak 14 psi with JB+!!

Picked up my bmw performance grilles today which must account for the higher boost........Actually I did the solenoid bypass and turned up the juice to 100% I was peaking at 14 psi so says the peak recall of my gauge. Just thought Id share.

nah 18psi would be risky .....But i would be worried about pushing 14 psi with just a jb+ i think you should be putting that much psi down on map 5 of the jb3.

I'm running JB+ @100%, DCI and Solenoid Bypass. The sustained boost at WOT is normally 13.5 to 14 PSI and peaks at 14.5 PSI. It is not very warm now, maybe this gives the extra 0.5 PSI vs. before where peak boost was 14 PSI?

The mods seems to have increased the effektive RPM by almost 1k and the all over grunt is much better than stock.

14 or 14.5 seems high. I thought that was nearing the safe limit? Usually im around 12 or so. Dont know how i hit 14.

Well I technically never boosted that high before. I guess im rocking 125%, made me laugh anyhow. And it made a funny story for me and my girlfriend cause I tried to explain to her why I was laughing........she didnt get it. lol, its an enthusiast thing i guess. Piggybacks dial millimeters and boost gauge peak recall must not be funny for everyone i guess........weird.

Peak-hold boost isn't overly meaningful, look at sustained boost through a 3rd gear run. 13psi sounds reasonable at 100%.
