fuel pump issue?
when i go 75% throttle to WOT with the car in third gear or higher the rpm will jump about 1k in an instant and then drop 500. after, the car does not pull as hard as it should. a friend of mine on this forum said it could be the fuel pump. i don't have long cranks. it's also a MT so its not downshifting. could that be the problem?

most people report a first clutch being covered under warranty... if you haven't done the CDV modification yet.... get your new clutch, and do the mod.... the stock CDV forces clutch slipping at every shift... IDK WTF BMW puts that thing on the car ?!?!?!?!?! when i got mine, 1st mod, wheels... (cause i had them already) ... 2nd mod ...the painted corner reflector things...(cause i had them already) ... 3rd mod... CDV.. cause it made shifting suck, and wears your clutch... BTW... burnouts don't hurt your clutch...... they just hurt your tires (and possibly brakes) ... slipping the clutch, launching hard, without burning out... that does hurt your clutch... |
