Taillight conversion - What do you think?

I originally posted this in the cosmetic forum but I think this picture warrants a new thread in a better section.

If someone could do a better job with photoshop let me know. This is 3 minutes with just regular paint. Thread + poll is here:

The lights look either a little to squished or like...elongated height-wise compared to how they really are (can't really describe it very well), but good job nonetheless I thought you actually did it to your car for a second there. Good job!

I think the current E-90 LCI lights look great and the E92 lights on an E90 look a little odd for some reason. It's not as aggressive looking.

I know that's a quick chop, but my initial reaction was "B7 A4". Not so sure yet, curious to see what others think.

The E90's rear is too tall to pull that off...

Again, this is regular paint.exe and I literally spent 3-4 mins. Just trying to help you all visualize it. More thoughts?

It's not exactly the same, of course, just the "gestalt" (IMHO).

I love how people like to tell me that I'm naive. Maybe I should rename this thread, "do you think I'm smart enough to do this"

Again all your input is appreciated. I'm merely asking what you think of the look of it. I'm not asking anyone to prove how much more they know than me about the involved process.

Since you probably need to repair your car anyway, go for it. We need some variety in this place, always M Tech kits and huge wheels with chrome linings.

Actually the rear isn't in need of repairs. I am just curious.
