335i style muffler delete or single outlet

Hey Im stuck with a tough decision on the muffler delete. Should I do the 335i style? I have the Mtech rear bumper and can easily get the dual cutout 335 diffuser, but Im worried the sound will be too loud with the 335 style muffler delete compared to just doing the single outlet muffler delete.

Is the sound going to be that different between the two? it seems members find it too be much louder and end up throwing in a magnaflow muffler to quiet it down. On the other hand, others with the single outlet seem to love it and have no regrets.

Your thoughts?

Thanks I might use a magnaflow muffler.

I don't understand why the 335 setup would be louder though. Should be the same imo.

hmm..For some reason ppl who have gone from single outlet to 335 dual outlet says there's a difference.

Heemry328i told me: "i did the same thing and now have duals. i believe it have to do with more piping and bigger tips? im not sure... but it does sounds different in a better way"

Also, koreez88 went from single outlet to dual 335 outlet and said it got wayyyy louder... i dont understand.

really if i did do the muff delete i'll have the pipes curl a few times
like a horn before attach'n the tips. Just to see if a new sound would come
out.

Muffler delete in general is just too loud, haha. Go with a muffler. And if you're going to go with a muffler, might as well do the 335i style

I have performance exhaust, and I would never do muffler delete. PE is loud enough...

i think u should do the duals. it sounds alot nicer. i feel that the loudness is about the same.. but the duals definitely sound "cleaner" than single for some reason. i drive with duals w/ muffler delete and i love it. It sounds really aggressive. however there is drone from 2k-2.5k or maybe 3k rpms. its not obnoxious though. just dont go for a res delete also!! muffler is enough and if anything throw on a magnaflow muffler and it'll eliminate all drone.

yes john you can use that if you want.. you will need to get tips too.. should roughly cost you 200 or less that is with the muffler and tips and installation.. but you would have to get a 335 bumper or a mtech rear with a 335 diffuser.. and if you get a used 335 bumper should cost you 300-400 used or so.. and a mtech bumper somewhere around 1000..

Ok let me break it down for you guys:
Step 1 : regular muffler delete. Sounded loud and nice, but pretty droney:

Step 2: Dual muffler delete. VERY droney (droned at ALL TIMES, even when cruising on the freeway at 70mph).

Step 3: Glasspack attachment. It was just as loud after installation. Don't ever waste your time and money on these:

Step 4: Putting stock muffler on because I got sick of the drone.
Step 5: Magnaflow muffler based dual system. Very little drone, silent on idle, quiet when cruising, and nice deep sound when on full throttle. Perfect balance for me, I have become quite intolerant towards loud exhaust systems:

^ was the Glasspack system less loud than the muffler delete? or is it that it only droned just as much?
