Snow performance Stage 3 installed.. well 75% of it

I jumped on the meth as well and got myself the Stage 3 Snow performance

Unfortunately my Stett Charge pipe still hasnt arrived after more than 2 weeks (usps and holidays dont go well together....) but i decided anyway to do the first step of the installation.
Big thanks to Former Boosted for the amazing thread about Snow kit and installation. it has helped me a lot to understand how the meth kit works and how the installation should look like.
The Snow kit wasnt missing anything, everything well packaged and was impressed by the quality!
Enjoy couple of pics, will finish the review when all has been installed and properly tested.

If you have any questions at all, please let us know Looks very good! That is proving to be a very good power source for the system.

Where are you planning on putting the controller?

well i am planning to put the controller in the little drawer under the light switch control. i want everything to be as hidden as possible. The power and low level probably in the ash tray on a carbon fibre plate.

Excellent!

Congrats to that, and as I'm waiting to receive mine (STETT sent it out but the status from the USPS tracking number hasn't changed for a week...apparently still sitting in Colorado somewhere), that's an excellent opportunity to see how it's being installed.

I'm also curious as to how it works with your GIAC flash, obviously, as I intend to have that combination as well within short.

on the 16-16.5 psi stage 2 flash only with more aggressive timing you should be able to gain around 15-20 whp. With the dedicated race/meth map (which is still not out) much more than that i suppose since boost will be higher .
By the way my Pipe left the united states the 1st of december... still the same status, no changes.

Nice install and yeah the spot for the pump that FBIS used IMO is the best, just wished I was able to install mine there! The picture of the relay....What exactly is that relay for as for the GIAC tune? What does it control?

BTW, FYI...WHile you are waiting for the STETT charge pipe, it would be a good idea to cover up the holes to prevent anything from falling into the exposed piping....a tiny screw or rock and there goes your turbos..

dont know depends on usps :-) i will finish the install in january when i am back from holiday . The car is already reassebled an functional

What you see in the picture with electric details is basically a fuse connected to the battery which is than connected to a Rele switch to the pump and controller.

Mine hasn't even left the US, since 10 December it's doodling around in Colorado in some USPS depot, apparently What's curious is that I just received a set of used turbos (for future projects...) from a US vendor with USPS and I had them within a week. No idea why it seems to take ages when STETT sends it out.

Nice. Where can one buy meth?
I'd consider installing a kit aswell, but I'm not sure if we have meth for sale...

A racing/tuning shop should be able to find both Race Fuel and Methanol fuel.
Otherwise you can look at RC model cars/elicopters shops but its probably gonna be expensive.
Speedway uses methanol, if there is a track near you or you know somebody driving speedway bikes ask them.
Otherwise you can use Ethanol as well which can be found everywhere but has lower octane

nope the dyno will be end of january when i finish the meth installation. The crank pulley is fine, seems the engine is more prone to rev up but there is too much snow right now so i couldnt push anything.
