My e90 328i 2008 saved my life .
Hi everyone my names alex im pretty new to this forum so not many people know me and many people may not care . But i
thought i could be a testimony to how well built bmw cars actually are . Im just a 17 year old kid who has great parents who didnt have such a great child hood as i did but worked their ass's off so i could live better then they could. They bought me a 328i on my sixteenth birthday if you ask me i one lucky ass kid to get such a nice car for my first car , i told them mom dad this is an expensive car i dont need this just get me a beat up rice burner or something. They said alex we love you and this car will get you from point a to b safely . So its been about a year that i had my car and i have babied it from the very first day i loved my car it was the coolest nicest car i couldve ever imagined, I had never gotten one speeding ticket or one accident not even a fender bender or scrapped it intill now. This past saturday i was in a very serious accindent my friend and i were on our way to homcoming . I was just driving down a street i drive down every day to get to school we were so happy and ready to just dance with all the girls we could . When all of the sudden we hear a huge crash i immediatly got knocked out . I was heli'ed to the best trama center in my state . I was not breathing and i was non responsive , I got to the hostpital and i woke up with tubes in my mouth it was a horrible feeling . But i came out of it alive and its because my car took so much of the impact ,oddly enough my friend came out of it with not a scratch not even whiplash. I now know why my parents bought me this car and they are very relived that i am ok. I will post pictures as soon as i get them but i thought i would share this with everyone so that all of you can drive with the convidence that you will be safe in any situation. I am sorry for my improper grammer and spelling. But i just got home from the hospital so im still out of it and shooken up . thanks bmw for saving my life. alex. |

No amount of technology and safety equipment can completely compensate the laws of physics, but I'm glad you're alright. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Damn, here's a kid who actually deserves a bimmer for a first car. Kid even ends with a disclaimer, lol. Have a speedy recovery and hope you get new car or your old car back soon. You have good parents, they took your safety into consideration above all else.

I here you bro my first car was a roush mustang that my mom suprised me with on my 18th b-day ( my dad didnt know) when he found out he said you have 2 options BOY! 1 you drive this mustang back to the dealer or 2 i ram this Pickup truck into it and we flatbed it back to the dealer. 2 days later i got my 335 my dad told me that he does not care about how fast the car is its how safe the car is. BMW FTW.
Thank BMW for protecting your life and most important thank God for saving your life. Testify that in church. Hope you a speed recovery and God bless .

You guys both SUCK at writing... LOL
Doesn't matter whether it was "was" or "were", the proper form is "YOUR" (indicating possession) and not "you're" (which is the abbreviated form of "you are")... Hope that clears up any final doubts... LOL And best wishes for a speedy, yet safe recovery in the slow lane. Word to your Mother BTW! I live in Tampa so I'd love to swing by to take a look at the wreckage. You sure it was a Homecoming event? So much for getting laid that night. |

You definitely have a guardian angel looking out for you. You seem like a good kid with good intentions. I'm glad you and your friend made it out of there okay. It sucks about the car, but cars can be replaced, lives can't.
Good luck with your recovery, and not sure if I want to see the pictures. Take care!
