Wow Sid. Low 13's stock? That's pretty good considering Matt ran 13.7's which an extra 3 lbs. of boost. Does that mean that I might be able to pull off 12's?

Sid, I'm pretty sure you meant low 14s stock unless you had JB3 on? With JB1 my best time was 13.99@101.3mph on a warm day with bad 60' (2.2s). What mph did you get on your best run Matt??
Agreed, the altitude sucks...but should be a nice cool day, so we should be able to get good times. To convert your time and mph for the turbo car to what it would be at sea level, NHRA says to use these number. http://www.nhra.net/content/about.as...601&zoneid=101 multiply your ET by .9638 and your MPH by 1.03865 So my numbers converted to sea level would be 13.5 @ 105mph which is decent all things considering. Gonna be very hard to get into the 12s up here unfortunately...anyone running catless DPs? |

I am not that excited since I can never seem to break 14 even with my Dinan tune. Haven't done anything to my car since last time either. Oh well, it'll be fun to see how you guys do.

low 14's isn't too bad for being stock. I cannot wait to run mine stock and see what it/I can do. I am also excited to get it chipped. Only with a JB3, you can run low 13s? That is insane!
Back in the topic, I am excited to make it on the 10th and meet you guys! |

BimmerThis (Vince right?), you are gonna be pretty fast out there, fastest of all us I expect. I am gonna take a guess now and say you will hit low-mid 13s. I just don't know if 12's are possible up here without full bolt-ons and maybe meth. You going to use race fuel?
Matt, do you still have the SSTT installed? If you don't have a helmet (like me), come out and run and if you hit the 13s, just rent one from them. I hit 13s (barely) the one time I went and they said I needed to get a helmet, but I never did...and never hit the 13s again, lol. Definitely going to work on getting my 60' down, cause last time was pretty pathetic....I mean I have an auto, it should be easy. |

I actually sold the SSTT Craig, now running procede. Only about 2 psi more boost but I'm hoping it makes a difference and with the CDV delete I hope that helps the shifts too. I also have much lighter wheels now but I doubt I will see any measurable difference with those.??? |

They do have fuel at the track so people don't have to drive out of their way to get 100. Keep in mind this stuff will be in the neighborhood of $7 to $8 bucks per gallon. |

Matt....pretzel = deal!!!
If I can avoid gas I will but we will see. I dont think Ill do race gas though, just 91 to see what it does normal. If Im not in the 13's with the V4 Im going to be upset. I like to think that I can shift pretty well, but launching with that V4 might be tricky Either way, we should all be pretty quick. |

For all your V4/JB3 guys, 13's or don't bother coming to this forum anymore...
But seriously, if I can break into the 13's with just JB1 and intake (not even DCI) and a 2.2s 60', then you guys should have no problems. I am planning to do better this time because of my 275 width tires have a decent amount more grip than the 255's I ran on last time. Not sure if I am going race gas or not, probably won't make much difference for me. |
