this color is horrid, its like the gold color they had on the e46. there was a local dealer by me that had a gold e46 sedan in the showroom for over a year, they couldn't sell the thing.

We were seriously considering Sonora for our wagon. With no cars to look at, our salesperson showed us a paint chip and it seemed too bright gold for our taste. We were also afraid it would be too aneimic looking with beige leather and she really wanted beige leather. We'd seen Arctic before and liked it, so we went with that.

Here are a few shots of an E90 330i in Sonora. Lightiing was filtered sun. The car is a little dirty after some overnight rain.

Considered this color for our wagon, but were afraid it might be to shiny gold in sun. Still glad we chose Arctic, but these photos look nice. Thanks for posting them!

Hmmm is there really any particular reason that we would need an official Sonora thread?
For some unknown reason, I just don't think it's going to be a major seller. I see most of those cars being turned into service loaners. Honestly, I just don't see anyone being sober and being of sound mind and body spending over $35K on that color.

The Sonora 330i's i've seen are handsome IMO. Here are some shots of one in the the shade. It's a sort of gold/tan color and looks particularly good with the matching tan interior.

I think E90 looks great in every color, Sonora is not an exception.

I've seen Sonora and I liked it, didn't care for it by only seeing pictures. Also Deep Green was nice with the terra interior, I loved it! But Barrique Red, I'm NOT feeling at all.

Truly dreadful. Nobody in Europe will ever willingly order that colour!

Well, personally I don't like this kind of colours. But I think that there are people who like goldish colours like Sonora or even Brass from Individual palette. They don't look sporty but particularly elegant.
