need this sensor on the bottom of steering rack!

mine is smashed and i need one asap!!! looked in junk yards all over but no luck.... its located on the bottom of the steering rack. check out the pictures....
if anyone finds this i will send you the money ASAP. went to a junk yard here in texas and they had a 335i but it didn't have active steering. they were only asking 10 bucks if they had it... you can make some good money if you find it. please help!!!
i'm tired of opening the garage doors and see my car on jacks.
by the way i have a 2007 bmw 335I. you can also find the sensor on E90 E91 and E92 2006-2007

Can't you get the part from Tischer or local BMW dealer?

Sorry this is off topic but where are there good junk yards with 3-series parts in the Dallas/Fort Worth vicinity?

Damn - from what I can tell that part is ~$2,500 and it comes with a remanufactured hydro steering gear attached to it

Why don't they sell that sensor? Weird.

Go to car-part.com (don't include www) and you can search for any specific part found in nearby junkyards. Or you can go nationally and they can ship you the part from their junkyard.

Hope it helps.

The sensor you show looks like it should have a part number on it? What's written on top of it?

Yes talked to several BMW dealer and parts store but they can't look up that number. In then steering rack goes for about 3800. dont want to change the rack if i can fix the damaged part or replace it.

The steering on my car is ok. no links no noise. Just active steering is off.

I was thinking of taking off this sensor. but someone caused me that it might mess up what ever steering i have.

Any idea.

Bosch

7882 377 105

0203 203 102

These are the numbers on the part.

I looked up bosch sensor but cant find it.

I don't exactly what this part is called. But read it in an article somewhere
where it is referred to as the pinion angle sensor.

That handle is all over the internet - motorcycle sites, gaming sites and even 2014 NCAA tournaments. Gotta be the same guy. Google danthemanusmc and see if you can track him down.
