Lightbulb 320d and 18"

Hi

I am buying my 320d soon. I am looking for tyre size upgrade to 18".

Tyre size is gonna be 225/40-18 and 255/35-18.

I am wondering if this will slow down the car. Currently 0-100 KMPH is 8.0. As listed on the website bmw.in

I dont want to slow down the car by putting in bigger tyres. Could anyone please help.

Also which online tyre dealer ships to India?

Thanks

I don't think you will fell that 18" wheels will slow the car down.

Thanks mate..

I think you also own a 320d.
q1 What tyre width are you using?
q2 Whats your 0-60miles or 0-100 KMPH?
q3 What top speed did you achieve with bigger tyres?

The engine technical data for India is below
Cylinders/valves 4/4
Capacity in ccm 1.995
Stroke/bore in mm 90.0/84.0
Max. output in kW at 1/min 130/4.000
Max. torque in Nm at 1/min 350/1.750

Thanks

I've got 235/30/20 and 285/25/20
I don't know my actual 0-100 KMPH time
And I have tried the top speed.

What are the widths of the wheels? 225/255 is a perfectly fine size to use.

What wheels dod you have now? 225/40 and 255/35 in 18" is fine on a 320d.

The current size is 205/55-16. I am planning on the style 189 wheels.

Tyres going to be 225/40-18 and 255/35-18.

16" looks really small on the e91, so I think upgrading to the 189 will be great.
