BMW Performance Power Kit FAN

Hi does anyone know if its possible to buy the high power fan only that is in the BMW Performance Power Kit ? I figure it would be a decent mod for the car with dci and fmic and downpipes? What do you guys think.

AFAIK you can't, also because you need a specific ECU programming for it, which comes along with the BMW Performance Power Kit only and is not sold separately.

IMO the best mods if you look at reducing the thermal stress on your engine is (i) an additional oil cooler (AR design's is excellent) and/or (ii) a high performance aluminium radiator (AR design is the only company currently offering one, if I'm not mistaken).

Go with the oc not the radiator. Oil temps are the issue not water and if water is, then switch out your coolant for 70/30 water/coolant and add water wetter.

AR's OC does look like the best, wish they made one for the one.

You could also coat your dp's and wrap them, its what I am going to do.

Thanks I just assumed that fans are just thermostaticly controlled only.. Oh well. If the fan is controlled by the ECU Im wondering if the bt cable can modify the setting so the fan come on a little earlier . the fan on my car starts around 250 ?
