07 CPO White/Red
24k miles Fully Loaded 6mt http://jmkbmw.com/preowned-certified...97P024669.aspx Seems Extremely overpriced for an 07 that has less then 1 year left on maintenance. |

Start at $27k and see what they say. Issue with this car is according to CarFax it was just recently listed for sale, so they're prolly not in a hurry to get rid of it.

Here is the issue on this car, I've seen two transactions within 30 days, 30-33k for the same type of mileage in above average condition, and two or three around 26 to 27 thousand. The issue is BMW FS at lease end is charging current market value plus options whereas used to options were kindof up in the air in regard to wholesale value. Figure on $1500 for CPO warranty itself, $1000 to $2000 in reconditioning and that will give you approximate cost which seems to range from 28.5 all the way to 35.5 on this car depending on some many different conditions. That's why I said 750 to 2000 off would be a good deal, IMO. What is your budget, what's the max you want to spend on a car regardless of the car, what's what you would be most comfortable spending and what would be an awesome deal for you? It should be less about how much you can get off and more about how well it fits your needs fiscally and car wise. Offering 9000 off is a joke, and it won't get you taken seriously, anyone who thinks a dealership can mark their car up $9000 and still make a profit is sadly mistaken. I'll admit their price look a bit high but do an Edmunds.com CPO price. Edmunds CPO Outstanding 36,847, Clean 35,305, Average(No Warranty) 30,370. |

If he got 1000 to 2000 off he'd be paying under one of the most reputable third party appraisers out there. How is that over paying? Why do people say Edmunds is too much on the value of the car they want to buy and too little when it states the value of the car they want to trade?

Regarding trade in, at the summer of 2008 a BMW dealership only offered me 7500 for my car. Last month this car was totalled and I got 13250 for it... 2 years later.
No way dealers go with Edmunds for tradein and use them for sales price? |

A dealership will offer you wholesale for your car and an insurance company will pay out replacement cost. I had a guy the other day tell me if I'm paying wholesale for his car he should pay wholesale for mine, what sense does that make? Depending on the car it will go to auction at which point a group of smaller dealerships will pay us wholesale for your trade which is why a dealership can't over allow to make you feel better and lose it on the back end.
