Installed pre-painted aero lip from ebay

I found this pre-painted aero lip on ebay for $275. I had some reservations about ordering site unseen, but the seller's reviews were all positive, so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the paint and fitment. Is it OEM? No. Is it perfect? No. Is the difference worth hundreds of dollars more? Not to me.

My next project is to paint the lower mesh grilles and fill the holes that my dealership drilled into my bumper.

Anyway, here's the end result:

Packaging. A little scared when I came home and saw this waiting on the porch. The box looked a little beaten up..

Not feeling much better here, as there was NO bubble wrap or anything. But once I felt the material of the lip, it's quite flexible, so not too bad I suppose. The lip weighs 4.2 pounds.

Out of box, paint looks pretty good...

I stuck it on the car just to check and see how it would look before I attached it...not bad!!

I agree with you...the paint closer to the wheel well seems a little flat and is not as glossy. I would imagine that of all the OEM paint colors, Montego Blue is one of the harder ones to get a perfect match. The head-on shots look pretty spot on to me though. Like I said before, it's not perfect. All things considered, I think it turned out pretty good.

nice it aint montego but 99 percent of people dont notice anyways. All that matters is that you like it.

I bought OEM splitters and my friend bought from E-bay.. To be honest, I cant tell wich is wich.. He is a bodyshop worker, and could'nt either..
