My new wheels

A new member that can't find where to post that I am new to the site, I have just picked up a 2009 facelift model 318d SE spec.

Not my normal type of car, previous being E46 330 m sport cabrio but due to the fact that buisness has been slow this year and fuel costs rising have bought my first diesel.

A couple of changes since I picked it up on Wednesday : 19" CSL staggered alloys 235/35/19 front & 265/30/19 rear and black kidney grill fitted today, will be looking at having it lowered, power upgrade, exhaust & rear spoiler & front splitter in the bear future.

Welcome, car looks great, you've got good taste in wheels. You're in the right section too. In my opinion, you should lower it first. How do you like the base diesel, is it powerful enough?

Thanks buddy, was tempted to go staggered M3 wheels but just love the CSL's as you can see also had on the cabriolet.

Being lowered will defo be next on the list, it is sitting like a 4x4 HAHA, the power from the base diesel is a bit of a shock compared to the 330 petrol that I just traded. But to be honest it does pick up ok, a bloke at work who has a 2.2 diesel vectra was taking the piss but as we both leave work at the same time I was always away from lights and into the distance where with the 318d just stays with it, this will change as have been looking at the MV Sport tuning package & exhaust system. (Will do a search and see what other mods have been done by other members)

I forgot to say in original post also has full black heated leather, cruise control & BMW telephone kit & tinted rear windows
