Limp Mode..... How far would BMW Assist Tow? Suggestions on dealer in Dallas, TX

I was on my way home to Houston from Dallas and about 10 miles outside of dallas on i45, my car goes into limp mode. Restarting the car wouldn't get it out of the limp mode like some have suggested. Couldn't get the car to go over 15mph. So I had the car towed back to Dallas, any suggestions on a good dealer here in Dallas? Would BMW Assist tow my car back to a Houston dealer (220 miles away)? I am now officially disappointed in my 4 month old BMW.

It's not 4 months old if it's a 2009, buddy. Built in 2008, so more like 3 years old. OVER-DRAMATIC.

True.... but with so few miles on it and being a daily driver for 4 months. It's pretty sad.

The website of classic BMW of Dallas is promising, I have not been there myself:
http://www.classicbmw.com/

My dealership is Autobahn BMW in Fort Worth and they have been great to me.
Good luck!

What makes you say it was built 08? Mine was ordered straight from the factory in 09, as a 09 MY.

Well I did call BMW, and while they won't tow my car back to Houston, they will reimburse me up to $1000 for meals, lodging, and transportation/rental costs since I am more than 100 miles away from my registered home address. They call it Trip-Interruption Benefits.

Then you get the last of the batch. E92s are out in March for the next MY, so your car was in production in one of the three months that the factory built cars for the same MY. 75% chance that the car was built in the previous year.
