*Raceland Downpipes 6 months later*
They to be in great shape. No rust expect for a couple of very very light rust spots on the flanges that i forgot to take pics of but in any case their so minor their not even worth the camera space.
This is after. 1. 2 months of florida 90-100F weather 2. 2 months of chicago 30F-50F weather 3. 2 months of 100-40F New jersey weather IMHO you cant go wrong with them. If you guys want different pics of them tell me.

I would not be concerned about rust that much considering that the downpipes are protected by the plastic splash shield under the engine bay. Rust may be a problem in salty coastal areas.
What I would be concerned about with these cheaper downpipes is actually cracking of the welds and at the flange areas. A quality weld is a quality weld and no matter what material it is used, it all comes down to the skills of the welder. I am glad those seem to be holding up OK for you though. It is always good to find alternative products from competitors.

They look great, really. I think $200 really is a fair price for 2 short pipes

Out of those 6 months did the car go through any snow and salted roads or just rain because I would love to see how they look through a Northeast winter with snow and salt over the roads every other week!

Lol people are funny with this stuff. Most of you won't own your cars after 5 years........so what if they rust away or not.......its a moot point. AR will last a lifetime for $700 the $200 to $300 versions will last longer than you will own your car.
Think about it and respond logically not emotionally please. |

There, their, they're.
I would also be concerned with the welds cracking. I have seen these first hand and they are not the greatest, but seem to work. They actually fit better than some others I have installed. |

PS: I don't intend to install these, but I can appreciate that company's effort to not rip off the BMW owners. This is worth a lot more than any "respect" and "great customer support" that others offer while selling at huge profit margins.

The whole question of how long they (AR, Raceland, PLM, etc) will last is a joke and pointless! They will all last long enough. LOL salt spray questions, northeast winters....lol...welds...lol....rust...lol... The crap exhaust you get at pepboys and strauss last 5+ years.................... Raceland 2.5inch and the PLM (ebay) which are 3inch can't be beat for the price. Now again if you are into the marketing aspect then get the Rolex aka AR..........they both tell the time just one looks better and will last to the year 3000 supposedly!
