Finally bought a 335i!

Hey everyone,

Been looking for a 335i since the summer and seeing as i wanted a very specific car (in terms of it had to be xdrive and have pretty much every option) its taken me a while to find the right car but i finally bought a 2009 335i Xdrive coupe over the weekend. Paperwork is still goin through so its not technically mine till next week but i'm already thinking about what mods to do haha!

So the details are:
Black on Red (initially i wasn't a big fan of the red but its starting to grow on me) with basically every option possible (Nav, M Sport, Executive Package, Premium Sound, 6 Speed Auto w/ M-Paddles)

Here are some initial pictures that i took when i first saw the car...will get some better ones when i have time to clean it.

As soon as i get it i'll be putting the winter tires on it and getting the windows tinted (back 3 for sure hopefully pretty dark and maybe the front two a very light tint). Not sure if i'll be doing anything else to the car except getting a set of rims for my summer tires at some point.

Can't wait to get the winter tires on so i can finally start enjoying it!

wow, super nice.

I personally never liked the red interior, but I think that's growing on me after seeing this car. In my opinion red interior matches perfectly with black exterior.

I might go red next time

thanks everyone....finally got around to washing it so heres a pic of it clean...looks pretty sick i think.

definitely think it needs the windows tinted...however i've heard that with the dot-matrix on the rear windshield that can be difficult!

anyone with tinted windows...whats ur experience been like? worth it or not really?

p.s. @Php i was never a fan of the red interior to begin with either but when i saw this car i changed my mind and i am actually starting to like it now!

Car looks gorgeous.

Also took me ages to find the right spec 335i Coupe over here in the UK. Had to be white or black with black or red leather trim. M Sport with sunroof, heated seats. 19" wheels, 6 speed manual, low mileage etc.

I guess if you wanted to convert to black interior, there will always be some one willing to to a swap!

Sweet ride!! But I say swap out your reflectors asap they stand out soo much on a black car

yea will definitely have to look into changin the reflectors. first thing i gotta do is get rims for my winter tires so thats kinda priority rite now haha

Didn't like the shine of jet black on red, but metallic black on red looks good.

Congrats on the car!

I have tinted windows on the car. For the dot matrix, just put vinyl over that area.

just had a look at ur pics and now i'm definitely convinced i need to tint my windows haha....hopefully get it done soon and put the vinyl over the dot matrix
