I just hit a F*cking pothole on sunset and got a flat. I maybe even dented the wheel. The potholes in LA are getting beyond ridiculous.

I hit one the other day in Sun Valley, terrible roads in that city, it wasn't just a pothole, but an actual HOLE in the street that went down about 6 feet and about 1 foot in diameter! It tore a gash about 3 inches long on the sidewall of my tire down to the cords! So pissed! I should try submitting a claim.

Neither the state nor city will ever pay our claims . Paying claims made by upstanding taxpaying citizens would get in the way of giving 22's , free healthcare, and flat tv's to lifetime welfare people and providing cable tv & fine living amenities to inmates.

But I have read cases where cities have been sued over potholes, and the claimants have won. |

I just hit a HUGH pot hole near Sunset and Barrington. There was so much thrashing my passenger thought we had collided with another car. Now sidewall have big bubbles on both right side tires and possible tire damage as well. Now replacing crappy RFTs with a set of Continental DWS. Nice $1100 event!

I filed one in glendale a while back for the Harvey exit in my evo, thing almost bent my rim, had to get a tire replaced $400.
they denied it saying "potholes are a temporary situation" that pothole was there for 2-3 years atleast, and they kept filling it and it would wear away again. of course after my claim, I noticed it was filled again. I think finally they repaved the whole exit. |
