Would my car misfire on cold start if my HPFP was going out.
its kind of been driving me crazy on what exactly is wrong with the car at this point. Iam leaving out of town in a couple days and i want to know what the problem before that happens.
I talked to couple a couple people and it seems that the symptoms iam getting are HPFP failure i.e. boost surging, cruising speed limps, etc. But i have never heard of cold start misfiring with a bad HPFP. I just had the injectors, plugs, coils replaced so its not the problem. My question is. Would the car cold start misfire ( repeatedly) with a bad HPFP or would something else cause this problem? i.e. vanos etc?

Even though you said they were replaced I would have to agree with this. Are you sure all the injectors, plugs and coils got done?
