Alarm issues
Hi I am wondering if the 330i came with an alarm stock or if the manual just talks about how to utilize arm it and everything without having one?
I have read on the older ones it is wired already but you need to have something done at the dealer to make it truly work. I can't get it to panic, to go off with the motion sensor, or anything. According to the manual it says when you lock the doors the side markers will blink once meaning it is armed. But it doesn't work. Isn't the red clown nose on the rear view mirror the motion sensor for the inside of the car?? Sorry for the silly question but it seems silly my mitsu had an alarm but not my bimmer.. |

It was a factory option for the alarm, not standard. Your car is prewired for the alarm module if you wanted to add it later, you need need to buy the $200 alarm kit and install it.
