Hey guys,

I had a '97 328i cab back in the day and the first thing I noticed was how bad the sound system was. Fast forward fourteen years later and after picking up a 2011 335d in Space Gray..."Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose". Funny that with the even with all the technological advances that go into our cars, some things remain the same: sound system = urea-poor.

I was now on a path to an OEM looking system that will put out nice, clean power creating accurate imaging and dynamics for music ranging from Melody Gardot to Metallica and everything in between.

Mr. Bing Xu from Simplicity in Sound designed the system and executed the install perfectly, for details of the build see:

Man, the sound stage is phenomenal - when listening to Kind of Blue the presence of the musicians was unmistakable-- Miles front and center, drum set to the far right back a couple feet....you get the idea.
