Question Alternatives to OEM E90 trunk cargo net?

I need a cargo net, but I don't want to pay the dealership upwards of $65 for one. Has anyone here used any nets, either aftermarket or other OEM brands, that fit the e90 trunk nicely?

Or get oem and be done. Probably cheaper online..

It's $55 from Tischer, PNO#82119407000

Yeah, I saw it on Tischer for $50, but they also charge $15 for standard shipping, which makes it....$65. I remember ECS had some generic ones that fit Audis and BMW a few months back, just seeing if anyone has had any luck using anything like that. Thanks anyways.

Looks like they are no longer available from ECS. Any other options?

Here is my cargo net mod

Here is my cargo net, I use it alot and works great, doesn't hold very many bag but I just really wanted it for small items like milk or soda or bottled liquids that I didn't want to roll around while out shopping.

Nice. Anyone have the part# for the hooks? I have a couple old cargo nets from previous cars, but I have no way to mount them in the trunk of the 335.

I got two of the large bins from Container store and they work great. They stack into each other and have rubber feet to keep them from sliding around. Works better than the net I had in my old IS 250.

I use one I kept from my previously owned 2001 Cadillac Catera. It is rectangular in shape and has plastic clips at each corner that clip rather well to the metal anchors. It is a little bigger than what I would like but the price was right. Try a walk thru the local auto wrecking lots and check trunks. I would have to guess that they would only be a couple of bucks...............

Anyone know what other vehicle's hooks will work with our cars? Not paying $24 per for the Lexus ones.

There are folding t-handle hooks that replace the plugs on each side of your trunk. You can hand grocery bags etc from them and they are like $11 for a pair of them. I'll try and google the part number and see what I can find. I have them works good for the situation you list. I also use my old E46 net in the back of the trunk with some s-hooks from lowes for a jacket, umbrella and spot clean up kit I made.

Part number is 51477140606

Check those out.

Remember, on the new e90 lci the trunk is missing latches so the cargo net doesn't really work.

Rise from you grave.!!!!!!!

I have the Lexus vertical net on the trunk of my IS and that sure helps a lot keeping things organized in the trunk.... I wish BMW had something similar... besides...

I doubt BMW makes a better net than Lexus. I have an IS and a 335i and believe me when i tell you that Lexus doesn't make it as cool but makes it better constructed and longer lasting...
