2007 335i Cobb AP Dyno Results (Updated Dyno Stage 2+)
Updated Dyno 12/17/2011:
Dyno Dynamics (said to read lower than Mustang Dynos) 374hp/ ~417tq +122hp/+150tq from stock. __________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ _____ Attached, are the results of my dyno today. (Didn't get any pulls in without the Cobb AP). Run #3 is my car completely stock. (252hp/267tq) Run #2 is my stock car with a Secret Services Auto tune. (312hp/327tq) Run #1 is with Cobb AP, Helix FMIC, Stett CAI, and AA DPs. (305hp/339tq) The first thing I want to point out is the smoothness of the entire powerband. Yesterday, a lady friend, who has almost no knowledge of cars, stated that the car seemed a lot smoother when I asked her how my car felt with Cobb. (She was in my car last Sunday when I was running stock). Note that these results are only with a stage 1 map. I cannot wait until stage 2 maps come out. I will have more dyno results once they do. Also, I would like to state for the record, that SSA's custom tune was still very impressive. SSA did not have complete access to all the tunable variables that Cobb has. (SSA and Cobb are working on a deal to make SSA a Pro Tuner). Cheers! Last edited by nafoo; 12-17-2011 at 11:25 PM.. |

Glad to hear that you're enjoying the COBB AccessPORT Stage 1 tune and it was my pleasure helping you out. The Stage 1 tune definitely gives the car a whole lot more consistent power throughout the entire power band as we discussed!

hmm so lemme get this correct,
you put out +60RWHP on a knocking aggressive tune and +53RWHP with FMIC,DPS,CAI,+COBBstg1? afterwards? Seems like if your running mods, cobb doesnt take any advantage of them.. I guess stg2 will take care of that. I just hope Im making closer to 400 to the wheels with all those bolt-ons. -Travis |

Also, look at the powerband. Cobb is a lot smoother and feels a lot faster. |

Yeah, but my car's a POS. I had a boost leak when I dyno'd, which I thought I fixed only to find a leak in one of the air intake pipes behind the engine. Problem is to replace it they have to drop the engine. So now, I'm Looking for turbo upgrade options because I minus whale do it when they pull the engine...
