GVA: TINTING group-buy round #2
last group buy was a huge success and i missed out on it. so I'm starting another gb.
Just like the last one, it will be done by Yau bong in Richmond. These discounted prices are the best around. the tinting film is quality stuff too! So we get $20 the regular pricing (based on rear windows and rear windshield) $110 for roadster (E89, E85, E86 Z4) $140 $120 for coupe (E92) $170 $150 for sedan (E90) $190 for SUV (X5) to add driver and passenger windows, it will be $70 more from the above. prices include tax. lets say you wanna do E92 coupe + front windows. that would be: $140 (rears) + $70 (fronts) - $20 (discount) = $190 (tax included). Expected time for the tinting is 2-2.5hours. Film type: SUN-GARD Perform-X slate http://www.solamatrix.com/automotive_performx.html Summer is just around the corner, so get these tints before you get baked! We need just 5 to make it work this time: 1. Gaifaun (E90) confirmed 2. kevinchan103 (e90) confirmed 3. oel (e90) confirmed 4. Kes (Audi A5) confirmed 5. tones (E92) confirmed 6. Peppermint (E92) confirmed 7. mrorps (e90) We have officially acquired the group buy pricing. You can get your tint done anytime, just call and make an appointment. However, you will have to pay full price up front. when the shop has served all 5 of us (or more), he will reimburse our money for the group buy. GB finalized: Call 604 270 8992 to book your time

Im very intereted...hoping to get them done this week...
Just to be clear it will be $115 for the E92 plus $70 for driver/pssngr? So $119 + ($70-15%) = $178.50 Cash Total? What type of warranty does he offer? Can anyone speak for the quality of work done? I'm guessing he's done quite a few cars on here. Looking forward to this tint buy! Last edited by tones; 04-20-2011 at 07:16 PM.. |

guys i just have the latest update from the shop.
1) pricing structure has been revised. We get $20 off instead of 15% off now. Taxes are still included. so lets say you wanna do E92 coupe + front windows. that would be: $140 (rears) + $70 (fronts) - $20 (discount) = $190 (tax included). for Coupes who want to tint rear only it will be: $140 (rears) - $20 (discount) = $120 (tax included). for sedans who want to tint rear only it will be: $170 (rears) - $20 (discount) = $150 (tax included). 2) you can get your tint done anytime, just call and make an appointment. However, you will have to pay full price up front. when the shop has served all 5 of us (or more), he will reimburse our money for the group buy. apart from that we are looking good for the GB. all set. Its actually not a big difference in pricing. just make your appointments and go anytime. I know this paying full amount upfront is kind of a PITA but we will get our group pricing. This is to insure the owner that no one flakes.

nope. perfectly fine. ceramic is double the price. most people on the forums just opt for non-ceramic ones. although those are superior at $300 easy.

Fair enough. Just that i read a lot of forum threads on bimmerfest about metallic films disrupting navigation and cell signals.
