Need Opinions!

Got in a fender bender a week ago and I got a great estimate to have the bumper and fender fixed so thats the first thing i'm doing. The thing I noticed is the light is crooked(pointed down). I looked under the hood and all the clips seemed intact so maybe the teeth that hold it in place just slipped. It is cracked but is not very noticeable. To get a new housing, it is 800-900 and I dont really feel like spending that. If the clips are not broken I could just have it adjusted and reset. What do you all think i should do?

Well the body shop said they could put some silicone on it but i dont want it to look crappy; like i glued it together. Im detailing my car after i get the bumper fixed so i could clean it up but should i try some sort of sealant or glue?

Im getting a new bumper and the fender needs to be straightened out a tad by the headlight corner. What is the name of the store? and OE aftermarket?

you can get a brand new aftermarket fender for 60$. there is no point of straightening that fender and paying double or even triple. I dont remember the name of the store. I have to get back to you later.

The guy is a friend of a friend so hes only charging me 50 to fix the fender. The point in not getting a new one is to keep the factory paint depth.

From the pictures it is hard to tell. Are the lights still seated properly?

You may have a few broken tabs but you can get a repair kit to fix that. Do NOT try to glue the broken tabs back together. Check your radiator support as you may have broken something there too.

You can superglue the crack and then sand it down. If there is more damage to the headlight then you may have to buy a new one.

Whats to hate? It gets cold but so does the other 2/3 of the country. The scenery is beautiful, you can ski or hike. Here in miami its just as boring. I cant stand the beach anymore and sweating walking from indoors to my sauna on wheels is just getting old.

Garage List
If you decide to tape, glue, vinyl cover, etc the head light make sure it is sealed good or the light will have condensation and fog up.
