Anyone know what this noise is
Bump, new issue, let me know if its normal.
Just installed the ER chargepipe and Forge DVs. Now, when the DVs dump pressure the have a metalic sound to them. Is this normal? If not, what do I do to fix them and how quickly do I need to get it fixed? Last edited by mithiral67; 07-30-2011 at 08:47 PM.. |

For help, the noise occurs at 15, 30, 39, 43, and 55 seconds. It occurs as soon as I let off the gas. I do not have a bov, just the stock DVs.
Its the sounds of air rushing out of something. |

diverter valves. When i changed out the spings to yellow, there was grease in there, but not a lot. Should I take them out and put oil on them, or more grease?

+1 normal w Forge DVs..u should not add more grease than what came in the DVs when they were new.
You will have to eventually clean the DVs after a certain interval and re-grease the O-rings w synthetic hi-temp grease |
