Amber reflector DELETE!
Well, I'd posted some pics before but I wanted to test the durability of the overlays, it's been over a month and a half and we had some VERY heavy rain this past week. The overlays are still PERFECT. HERE IT IS ENJOY!
This is what you will need: Window tint (any percentage is fine, depends on your taste, the darker it is,the . harder it gets) Small squeegee Water with soap Cut Blade Total Cost: Under $10 Start out by laying the masking tape over the amber area. Make sure to start at the corner and work your way around.Make sure to place the next piece of tape partially OVER the previous one. Don't be afraid to bend it to make it nice and straight, what matters is the final outline shape, not the surface finish. This is what your finished part should look like. Next stick your part over the window tint and cut around it with your cutblade. Once you've cut around it take the part and the "template" and separate them. ClEAN YOUR HEaDLIGHT!!! VERY IMPORTANT!! Once it's cleaned separate the tint from the film, spray it with water so it won't stick. Once you've separated it, spray the headlight as well, start from the outer corner and work your way in. You might need to take it of and on over and over to get proper fitment. Squegee out bubbles and your set! New overlays!! Last edited by BavDom; 03-27-2007 at 11:30 AM.. Reason: improved name |

Thanks guys, as far as paint affecting the tint, idk. I don't think it will since tints are made of vinyl and and pretty thick, I guess just make sure you paint it correctly. Personally, I've seen the color overlays and I think it looks nicer smoked, In ANY color. It conceals the amber but maintains a classy, aggressive look. But that's just my opinion. YOu can go darker if you want, the one on the pics is 35% you can go lighter or darker. I did 5% for my friend's Jet Black.
Also, yes, I'm not selling any of this, this is just presented by BavDom so you guys can have some fun! If you want any add-on parts then yes, I can help you or you can check our GB which is the link posted under our emblem. It's mostly closed right now though, If you want to be on the painted splitters you can still get in, but not for anything else. THanks guys=D ENJOY! BE PATIENT AND HAVE FUN WITH IT. YOu'll feel great knowing you DID THIS YOURSELVES. |

The look is mostly for daytime. ONLY solid vinyl like hunters will get the amber out completely at night.
