will maintenance upgrade program cover water pump?

Just blights 330xi and the original owner had maintenance upgrade (6yr 100K miles). It says it covers all scheduled maintenance items and wear/tear items. Would water pump be considered wear and tear item? Are tires covered?

no and no.
maintenance basically covers brakes, oil changes, coolant and brake flushes, wipers, etc, standard maintenance. the water pump would be covered by the extended warranty (if it has one) and tires are covered by nothing.
