Question about recall fuel injection sys
Bringing in my 335 to BMW dealer for the recall for the fuel injectors. I read earlier that they might give me a new HPFP or new software update. Is there anything I should look out for? I remember someone saying to get a specific update 943 or something but not to get a 926 (not sure the numbers). Has anyone here brought their car in to shed some light. Thanks...

Most recent hpfp # is 446 and surely you can ask for that but good luck getting something other than what's on the shop shelf.
And count yourself lucky if they are able to update your software, switch out your hpfp & check your injectors in one visit. It took my dealer three visits to accomplish the full recall treatment. g/l

I have had a few check engine lights come on about 50 miles from home. I was pissed thinking if my car breaks down cuz of the hpfp Im gonna be pissed. My car has 20K miles on it(I know that means Sh#t and can go out anytime) but still. I turned the car off and on and it was fine. One of these times it wont be. My SA said it will only take 2.5 hours annd if I need a loaner no problem. I guess that a good thing...
