I just called my BMW dealer, they had no idea about this. I think it's great how we find out before the dealer! Good Stuff
EDIT: Dealership got info and called me back, PRICE is $1,500.00 plus install (STEEP)

$1500 for 20 horsepower is a no brainer on other cars, but the fact that a jb2 only costs $99 and adds 30 horsepower really un-sweetens the deal. You do get to keep your warranty though, so i can see how some might jump on it.

It's nice there is something for the people that are warranty paranoid, more automakers have done the dealership upgrades of late. Almost always overpriced and delivers less than you'd like but hey warranty piece of mind.

Its a nice move from them to extend the offer to actual 135/335 owners who dont want to chip their car!

Small wonder this is happening right around the time of the impending release of the F series line.. The E9x N54s will be so cheap in a few months I am almost tempted to buy one myself as a second car.....ALMOST
