I'll be stopping by the shop this week (provided my E92 actually gets delivered) to get my tires mounted, we'll talk exhaust and other mods then, really interested in a few mods/installs to be done by IND/A&L Autobody. See you then!

Good luck with the delivery! Look forward to meeting you when you stop. Are you getting some winter tires installed?

Yes sir, they've been sitting around (waiting for the car) for over a month to be installed since I returned from Munich.

Is the bastuck compatible with e90 335xi? (Bump my own question...)

Also, would this fit the Reiger rear diffuser?, spacing looks about the same.

The Bastuck is an axle-back system and is indeed compatable with the xi model. I can't positively confirm fitment with the Rieger diffuser but do offer the Bastuck diffuser. Pictures can be seen by clicking the attached link below.

Guys, saw the Bastuck exhaust myself in person at IND/A&L, definitely a top quality product. The guys at IND/A&L hand polish these badboys so you know you're getting a great quality and service. I liked it so much I even invested in one myself!

I am trying to understand something. Is this exhaust mostly for looks (love the quad look) and sound? Since it does not extend all the way to the downpipes why would anyone buy this exhaust if you are not getting the full performance gains by opening up the rest of the restrictive parts of factory exhaust? Are there other parts from other systems that everyone is going to use with this exhaust?

I would say it's mostly for sound, nice looking tips would be a bonus since they'll most likely look better than oem tips. Power wise, even if you get a full cat-back, it's only about 10 ~ 15hp or so, not something thats really noticeable butt dyno wise, you need downpipes to get the most power. Hope that helps.

Exactly.

The stock exhaust is free flowing as it is. Not much gain is found even with a cat-back exhaust.
