I'm selling my superb 2007 jet black BMW 328i coupe with the intention of buying a Porsche 911. My car has the 6-speed manual transmission, red leather interior with heated seats and the sport package.

I purchased the car in February of this year, trading in a gas guzzling 4.4 X5. I'm the second owner and it just turned 55.5k miles. The rear tires were just replaced at about 53k miles with AS-03's and it received an alignment at the same time. The oil was changed at 55k miles on 10/26/11 with Mobil 1 5w30 and a fresh Virginia state inspection. I'm a non-smoker and the car has been used strictly for commuting.

There are a few stone chips and a small scuff on the front bumper but overall the car is very clean. As with anyone who's owned these cars, they'll tell you it's extremely quiet and smooth yet still retains a very sporty feel. The sport seats are fantastic and even sitting in the back as a 6ft tall adult is more than comfortable. More comfortable than many sedans, in fact. The engine is perfectly balanced and has more than enough power to get out of it's own way. Before I installed the roof rack (which will not come with the car) in May I saw an average of 24.5 mpg and since then it's decreased to 23.0 mpg. Surprising. This is primarily sitting in traffic during my commute. If you're driving places with little traffic I wouldn't be surprised if your average was 26+.

There is a lien on the car but the title should be in my hands in a matter of days once it's paid off. It's with Sun Trust.

No accidents and it's just out of warranty. Not to say you can't purchase one.

Also remember I drive this car ~70 miles a day to work. Miles will continue to add up.

Well the best thing I could do is keep the car and enjoy it (which I do!). But I've been eying a Porsche so I'm looking to sell it however I'm not willing to go much lower than you'll find the identical car for sale anywhere else.

Both searches were for 2007 BMW 328i coupes with manual transmissions and sport packages. Total for sale in the US on cars.com is three and just a few more than that on autotrader.com however none of those are black with red interior.

Perhaps I should have asterisked my wiggle room comment.

Point is, much lower and I'm just giving the car away.

1. In your ad says 23k OBO.

2. I'm familiar with auto trader and cars.com and I was on there before. So, it's not like it's my first time buying a car.

3. It's black on red and not white on red... shit ain't that serious

4. There is another e92 328i Sport 6MT with 28,000 miles and he's only asking $23,700. Yes, it's not black on red, but who cares when his asking price is pretty close to yours and it has only 28k miles.

5. 3k more on top your asking price and I can get an e92 335i with same mileage (55k)

Perhaps, this guy is given his car away
