How much WHP stock block?

Has any one actually figured out how much RWHP our stock block can hold before it goes bye bye? I am seeing that Shiv is getting 627rwhp on stock block and says he pushed out even mroe on his single car.. hearing rumors of 700-800. Do we have the new 2jzgte?

Shiv hasn't released the testing results from the engine tear down that I know of. Until then we can only speculate. I would assume it to be around 700-800 though if you want any kind of reliability.

We don't expect to do a tear down until there is reason to. So far, the car regularly makes ~650whp and is driven hard. But we are putting together a built motor based upon what we believe to be the "weak" points of the engine. And I use that term very lightly as the stock block looks to be stout.

My money is on 900rwhp...And I base that off of absolutely nothing.

700 whp is already unusable without DRs/nittos/r888s and LSD and half shafts and probably all the m3 bushings and bits too. Kinda reminds me of the top gear cl65 amg review haha.

Someone needs to slap this on an Xi. I see BMWs new x drive technology from the i8 that switches to full RWD after launch as the future of traction solutions!

Can't wait till the days where 650whp is harnessed like 350whp is, these days 350 of it is used and the other 300 goes up in smoke!

We need a 996/997 awd with the x50 pacakge for comparison!

+5000. I thought the car hooked pretty well stock, but with power levels that people are seeing on fbo+meth cars, sure does make xi's seem preferable.

Shiv's power level has gotten ahead of the chassis. From what I've read he's developing some drivetrain mods to help put the power down. No one has pushed the platform to this level before, so the chassis mods need to play catch-up. Maybe we'll see some new ideas in suspension next?
