Insurance:, how much for a 335d coupe 07/08 (that also includes other e9X)

hi lads, i have decided i am going to go for a 335d coupe 07/08, going to get it in november time.

i was wondering how much did you lot get quoted for your 335d coupe,( also would like to know about other bmw too). i have been quoted between 1300 to 1450 for it.

if it is ok, not being rude , can you tell me how old you are and how many years driving and no claims, and what postcode, as i live in west london (tw7 4da).

i am at the moment insuraced on admiral (10 month contract), with a bmw e46 318ci coupe 2002 plate, paying like 800 pounds.

i have 6 years of driving, 24 years old but 25 in november and have 4 years of no claims.

thanks sive

recommendation from me, swfitcover or its sister company AXA. They usually give me low quotes. Then you can even customise the quote and remove additions like legal cover, wind shield cover, personal injury etc.

A company offered me 1000 on my 2000 330ci renewal, I went to swift cover and got a quote for around 700, I then customised it and added my girlfriend as a second driver and got it down to 550. That was a good year

Currently driving a E93 335i 07. London 28yrs old 9 years no claims. Paying 1000 with AXA other companies were asking between 2500 and 5000.

Too many bad reports on Swift.

Also their policy reserves the right to repair your car with second hand parts from scrap cars.

LV seem to be quoting well for a lot of people.

Admiral have been the cheapest by a mile for me for the last few years.

2011 335d coupe, 20k business miles, 32 yr old, 7 yr NCB, 1xSP30, SN5 postcode - 710

It really seems to be all about the postcode these days, anyone in London seems to be paying silly money.

At 24 in 2008 a remapped 335d cost me 1000 to insure. At 25 in 2009 it cost 600. Not sure of that was Flux or Tesco now?

21, 3 years driving/3 years no claims, 3 points, RM post code - I paid £1500.

I've got my renewal coming up in the next month and running a few quotes through it looks like it should drop to around £1200.

it looks like it depends on the postcodes, like what the other have said, going to wait till november , as i would have 6 yrs driving wit 5 yrs no claims, and being 25 it should cheaper

the price for some of the people here above , who are below 25 is shockingly cheap , paying 800 for 2002 2 litre e46

i insured an e93 last week i live in Bradford & Bradford has recently been recognised as a whiplash claim hot spot so as you can imagine premiums are above average, anyway i got a quote with privilege & it was over 1k, i then looked on comparison sites & found the same quote with privilege via go compare was 664.

I get pissed when i read these threads.

30yrs old,
8years no claims,
Low crime rate,
320d,
£750 with tesco, substantially the best quote. Adding wife as named driver reduced fee by 30%.
Wtf would it cost me to have a 335? Probably my right testicle, a child and the contents of my bank account.

There is no correlation between no claims, car, age, gender, its just bend over and take this! Fooking scammers!

This topic is irrelivent as even a single digit postcode change can have a significant impact.

Just make sure you follow this guide: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/ins...-car-insurance

And take it from there..

FWIW although I've not been insured all year in this car: I paid approx 1500 this year for the 335d (working out what I paid for the 350z plus the surcharges they added on for the remainder of the year when I switched in august).

This is a policy taken out at 24 with 3 years no claims living in Harrow.

26 years old 330i e90.
Ub10 - 800 per year
7ncb

Biggest factors:
-park on street
-good job (computer technician in my case)
-added girlfriend to policy

In my case tweaking job description saved more than i would have 4 more uears of ncb.
