So a little while ago while driving into work i got hit with some bird poop, so naturally i pulled on the windshield washer stalk to clean it off, however nothing happened. No fluid, no wipers nothing when i pull the stalk in. Everything else works fine, the auto wipers work, as does the manual control for it, i just can't wash my windscreen.

Now i'm assuming the issue is with the pump, however what concerns me is the fact that nothing happens when i pull on the stalk. I would assume the wipers would engage even without the fluid being discharged. I'll be taking it in soon to RMP (figured i'd try them out since my warranty has expired and i also need an oil change). But before I go i'd like to have some idea of what to expect with this issue.

Anyone else encounter this?
