The Burl Walnut is the darker wood trim. Which one looks better is up to you.

I have beige leather with poplar. Walnut would be my pick with black leather.

I got the burl with black leather. I like that combo better. Poplar was too light for me.

There's not that big of a difference when you see the two different woods in person. I have the Burl with Black leather and it looks great, but I have seen Black leather with poplar and think it looks good also.

Just goes to show... I have beige with burl walnut in both cars. I would go with poplar in black for the contrast, but either would look fine. Guess that's why the let us choose!

It does!!!! Ok, I'm biased as that is what I chose.
Any combo will look good because BMW wont offer anything too ugly as standard athough some of you may beg to differ.

Now if you are in to the individual colours, that may be another story.

All the best

Burl with Black for me, it's all a personal preference.

walnut with black for me also. In my opinion, poplar makes the interior look a bit cheap.
but thats my opinion. Check out both, see which one you like.

I went with poplar & black leather. Nice contrast & looks great.

It's all a matter of opinion.

Thanks for all the great input. We were looking for the darker of the two wood choices with the the black leather. We went with Burl Walnut. We are getting a Titanium Silver 330 with Sport Package, Premium Package, steptronic, Nav, pdc, sat radio prep. I am hopefully picking the car up in Munich on December 17.
