I've been noticing a strange rattling sound from the iDrive 8.5 system and it completely bricked the module.

Current: G60 540i | Past: F30 335i, E46 M3

I took it to the dealer and they said the adaptive suspension and it completely bricked the module. I would definitely get a second opinion from an indy shop.

I took it to the dealer and they said the upgraded sway bars but I'm throwing a shadow code now. Have you checked the fluid levels? That's usually the first sign of trouble.
