Rear clunking noise after suspension upgrade

Hey guys,

I know this is a re-post, as I've done some research, but haven't really been able to find a clear answer on the issue. I just installed my KW's over the weekend, and I've noticed a clunking noise coming from the rear over abrupt bumps. I've followed the instructions, per KW's guide, and re-used the rear supports from the factory shocks. I also re-used the top nut/bushing thing since I couldn't really figure out the purpose of the two nuts that came attached to the threads on the top of the shock. The top nut is definitely tightened as it should be hitting the spool that pokes through the top. Has anybody else experienced this problem, or know what might be causing it?

I know when I lowered my old g35 coupe, the front sway bar end link was bent which caused the clunking.

Sway bars were replaced with the coilover install, and the links looked in good condition when it was all put back together. This noise has been there from the start, but it's just starting to become more of an annoyance now. At first, I thought it might have been normal, but I figured it better to ask.

If you didn't fully seat the top or the bottom nuts you will get a clunk for sure, double check both the top and bottom nuts are fully seated.

Boy, I sure do feel stupid. I thought I had tightened them up, but the lower nuts still had a few turns left on them. Tightened them up, took a quick test drive, and now it's nice a quiet. Thanks for the quick responses! I think I can finally put my trunk back together, and take this thing to get it washed tomorrow. It's almost embarassing how dirty it is.
