Limp mode 30FF Boost leak Questions
Last night I decided to use the JB4 Performance Tuner while on the highway to check some stats. I am running map 5 with about 2.5g E85/rest 93 and the car was running strong.
1st run pulled onto highway, floored to 90ish, glide 60 and back to 90ish x3, then off ramp 2nd run same routine 3rd run heard a loud pop on WOT, limp mode to the house. Found the problem I'm currently searching for the cause of this issue, I clamped the hose back on and checked the codes and everything looked good, but of course won't hold. I've read about people dropping their car off for basic service with the JB4 still installed on map 0. Is this repair considered basic or should I remove the JB4 before dropping it off. Thanks

Id personally remove the JB4. You never know what could happen, they find something more serious, and then they find the JB4 and your screwed.
